Manufacturing Technician (1-Year Contract)

Job Summary

Are you looking for a meaningful opportunity focused on improvement activities in a Manufacturing environment? Emerson has a great opportunity for you! We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to resolve equipment issues and maintenance works.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

1. Performs equipment/facility maintenance works such as PM/CM/AM etc.
2. Works with engineering team and production team to fix equipment issues on time and work on improvement activities with the team to reduce equipment failures.
3. Coordinates with engineers/ production supervisors/ EHS team for efficient project execution to meet production requirement, project schedule & quality standard.
4. In-charge of tool utilization, handles spare parts management and drives equipment improvements.
5. Works with EA/ engineers/ vendors/ contractors in implementing contract services/projects.
6. Implements rework process for production failures.
7. Performs other duties as assigned; duties will vary according to the project progress or specific goals to the business unit.
8. Ensure compliance of workplace safety rules, including but not limited to the usage of a personal protective equipment, if provided to you, while working; not involve in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger peers or oneself; reports unsafe work conditions and provides suggestions in improving safety/health at work, as needed.

For This Role, You Will Need:

1. Experience in equipment installation and with strong troubleshooting & diagnostics capabilities.
2. Able to support weekends or shifts as and when required.
3. A great teammate with good interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

1. Higher NITEC/ NITEC or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronics.
