The Position

Manufacturing Team Lead
Roche Singapore Technical Operations
The Opportunity:
As the Manufacturing Team Lead in Roche Singapore Technical Operations affiliate, you play a key role in the daily supervision of manufacturing operations and personnel while fully complying with current Good Manufacturing Practices and Roche’s corporate principles, quality policies, and standards. You will report to the Head of Bacteria Operations in this role.

As the Manufacturing Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

1. Complying with all Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) requirements & adhering to the site security measures.
2. Promoting a continuous improvement culture, encouraging experimentation and learning & supervising the GMP manufacturing operations and participating in personnel management.
3. Scheduling to meet manufacturing timelines & prioritization based on production schedule and objectives.
4. Making recommendations on human resources, budget, and department operations.
5. Liaising with internal personnel and external representatives.
6. Leading the cross-functional improvement initiatives and audit closure.

1. You hold a Degree in Life Sciences or Engineering discipline (or equivalent); Preferably with 5 years or more of related manufacturing GMP experience and education.
2. You prove to be an experienced people manager with at least 1 or more years in managing a team in biotech or pharmaceutical operating environment.
3. You hold a good knowledge of GMP systems and biologics production process.
4. Prepared to work on 12-hour shift schedule.
5. Able to carry heavy loads of up to 25kg due to the job nature.
