Develop detailed manufacturing processes, including assembly procedures, testing protocols, and quality control checks.
Create efficient process flows to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
Continuously analyse and improve existing processes to reduce costs, increase yield, and enhance quality.
Design and procure necessary manufacturing equipment and tooling.
Determine the required production capacity and allocate resources accordingly.
Plan and design the manufacturing facility layout for optimal workflow and efficiency.
Oversee pilot production runs to identify and address potential issues.
Validate processes to ensure they meet product specifications and quality standards.
Implement quality control measures to ensure product consistency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
Investigate and resolve quality issues.
Requirements
Degree / Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics
1-4 years of relevant experience preferably in Assembly of Equipment or Test area preferably in Semiconductor Industry
Experience in maintaining the Quality of Work
Knowledge of Material BOM’s
Capable of understanding Engineering drawings for Mechatronics-assembly
Experienced in Manufacturing Engineering Tools (5S, Process Flow, FMEA, System Risk Analysis, DMAIC, 8D, Control Plan, SOP, SOO, Work Instructions, Root Cause Analysis, Capacity versus Demand)
Experience in Mechanical Fitting, Cable Routing and Installation of Equipment. Preferably in a Semiconductor Equipment Industry.
Able to use Solid works to design simple fixtures / jigs
Technical skills must include basic knowledge of mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
