Roles and responsibilities

1. Produce 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
2. Assist the Manufacturing Engineer in preparing engineering documents such as Process FlowCharts, Work Instructions, Tooling Lists, BOMs, etc.
3. Ensure that engineering documents and Programs are accurately maintained and updated.
4. Analyze and troubleshoot manufacturing process issues, implement corrective actions, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
5. Collaborate daily with Production and Quality teams to monitor production output, resolve quality issues, and optimize workflows.
6. Maintain accurate records of non-conforming products and assist in root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
7. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the proper maintenance of equipment and machinery.
8. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to manage outsourced orders and services.
9. Update and maintain process monitoring data in the system to support continuous improvement initiatives.
10. Take initiative in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related engineering field.
2. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
3. Skilled in CAD/CAM software for design and manufacturing applications.
4. Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
5. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) – a must.
