Provides support to the Manufacturing organization to facilitate efficient operations within the production area.
Optimizes existing processes and ensures that production goals are met.
Monitors performance of equipment, machines, and tools and corrects problems that lead to non-conforming products or quality issues.
Interfaces with Quality and Research & Development to integrate new products or processes into the existing manufacturing area.
Manages overall projects related to Manufacturing Equipment/design while ensuring the highest levels of quality.
Oversees planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations for new and existing products.
Ensures effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel to produce quality products at effective operating costs.
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and Procedures.
Initiates and completes technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes.
Prepares reports and presentations to communicate findings.
Partners with Engineering on installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
Implements, documents, and maintains controlled, repeatable production processes.
Creates and upgrades equipment or process operating procedures.
Develops qualification and validation protocols.
Participates in and/or leads qualification and validation activities.
Interfaces with other departments and suppliers to address root causes.
Incorporates business policies and procedures into task completion.
Understands business needs and customer needs.
Cultivates internal and external networks of resources to complete tasks.
Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
2-5 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in SAP systems and advanced project management capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to make swift, judicious decisions and respond effectively to dynamic situations.
Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles, theories, concepts, practices, and methodologies.
