Managing Director

We are a Singapore construction company undergoing organisational and business transformation. This has led to the requirement for an experienced Managing Director to assume this role.

The Managing Director will report directly to the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

This strategic role involves developing business and professional networks to foster an inclusive atmosphere with diverse external stakeholders and the global business community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and negotiating business contracts
• Developing international business opportunities
• Cost management and control
• Effective cash flow and receivables management

This is both a hands-on and strategic leadership role, requiring the ability to formulate and recommend ideas and directions to drive change in the organisation while maintaining a culture of innovation and value creation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Accountancy, Finance or Economics
• At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry at a leadership level, with a minimum of 5 years' experience leading a construction company in driving sales, profitability, cash flow, and accounting receivables management
• Ability to work from the construction yard office
• Strong interpersonal skills, resilience, and ability to excel in driving sales and business development
• Experience in managing profit and loss statements
• A team player with a 'can-do' attitude
• Versatile, hands-on, and strategic approach

Salary: Estimated salary SGD $120,000 - SGD $180,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
