The Group also has a presence in several countries throughout the region.
The Managing Director (MD) will oversee the Group's corporate healthcare administration business entity, driving the delivery of high-quality, cost-efficient, and transparent healthcare solutions to large corporations, major insurers, and small businesses.
Job Description
The MD will report directly to the Singapore CEO based in Singapore and will be responsible for overseeing the company's overall operations, strategic direction, and growth. The role ensures that the Third-Party Administrator (TPA) remains compliant with regulatory requirements, consistently meets client service expectations, and drives innovation to stay competitive in the evolving insurance, healthcare, and benefits administration sectors.
The position requires a deep understanding of the TPA industry, strong financial acumen, effective leadership, and a customer-focused approach to managing third-party services.
In addition to managing the corporate healthcare administration business entity, the MD will be a key member of Singapore 's senior management team, driving strategic initiatives to achieve overall goals and enhance synergies across the region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement the company's strategy in line with Board objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities and market trends to drive expansion.
- Set long-term goals, annual targets, and initiatives to improve business efficiency.
- Lead innovation and digital transformation to position the company as a Managed Care leader.
- Participate in key country-level initiatives, including Value-Based Care and Member Journey improvements.
- Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective service delivery.
- Ensure smooth operation of all departments (claims, underwriting, compliance, IT, etc.).
- Set KPIs to track service quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Financial Oversight
- Develop and manage the annual budget to ensure financial sustainability.
- Collaborate with the CFO to maintain financial controls and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor financial performance, manage risks, and identify revenue growth opportunities.
- Cultivate relationships with investors, stakeholders, and financial institutions.
- Client and Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Lead business development to expand the client base and strengthen relationships.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Represent the company in negotiations and industry events, building trust and positioning as a thought leader.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies.
- Oversee risk management efforts, mitigating financial and operational risks.
- Lead audits and ensure all processes adhere to relevant laws.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Healthcare Management, or related field. MBA or advanced degrees (e.g., MBBS/MD) are a plus.
- At least 10+ years of leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role in TPA, insurance, healthcare, or benefits administration.
- Proven success in business growth, team leadership, and financial performance.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including ERISA, HIPAA, and state insurance laws.
- Financial expertise in managing budgets, P&L, and forecasts.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, stakeholders, and the Board.
