Job description

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Managing Director with a strong background in F&B franchise management to lead and oversee our operations. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the industry, with proven expertise in franchise business expansion, strategic marketing, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

  • Spearhead the expansion and management of multiple F&B franchise brands, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to optimize operational efficiency and revenue streams.
  • Lead and oversee franchise development, including market entry strategies and the establishment of new business retail outlets.
  • Cultivate partnerships with multinational corporate clients to enhance brand visibility and increase revenue opportunities.
  • Leverage extensive global marketing and advertising expertise to execute high-impact integrated marketing communication (IMC) campaigns and brand collaborations.
  • Identify and drive foreign direct investment opportunities, securing funding for business growth.

Franchise & Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple outlets, ensuring that business performance meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly, and yearly KPIs.
  • Develop and implement standardized brand identity systems across outlets to maintain consistent service and quality standards.
  • Work closely with Outlet Managers to optimize customer service, food quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that all franchise compliance regulations are met and that business operations align with corporate governance policies.
  • Continuously analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Establish a data-driven decision-making approach, utilizing key financial and operational insights to drive business improvements.

Marketing, Brand Development & Customer Experience

  • Lead a team responsible for strategic brand marketing, advertisements, PR, and social media to increase brand recognition.
  • Develop innovative sales promotion strategies and loyalty programs in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Oversee menu innovation and seasonal promotions, ensuring alignment with market demands and consumer preferences.
  • Ensure that all guests receive the highest level of hospitality and service standards, reinforcing a customer-centric culture.
  • Personally oversee service recovery efforts, ensuring a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.

Financial Management & Profit Optimization

  • Drive multi-outlet profitability, ensuring that each business unit operates as an independent profit center.
  • Implement cost optimization strategies, including flexible workforce management, multi-skilling, and multi-tasking.
  • Oversee P&L management, forecasting, and resource allocation to maximize ROI.
  • Execute upselling strategies and implement creative promotional campaigns to boost revenue.
  • Strengthen financial reporting processes to ensure accurate tracking of business performance.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven executive leadership experience: Minimum 10 years in F&B franchise management, marketing, and operations.
  • Track record in successfully launching and scaling F&B brands, including franchise expansion (30+ outlets).
  • Strong expertise in corporate restructuring, brand identity development, and integrated marketing strategies.
  • Experience in securing corporate partnerships with global brands and executing large-scale marketing campaigns.
  • Academic or professional qualifications: Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, or related fields).
  • WSQ Food & Beverage Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to manage teams across different locations.
  • Multilingual abilities (Fluent in English, Korean and Mandarin) for effective business communication in international markets.
