MANAGING DIRECTOR

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic direction of the company’s operations in Singapore, aligning with the global vision and goals from HQ
• Develop and execute long-term business plans that support growth, market expansion, and profitability.
• Identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential partnerships in Singapore and other regions.
• Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to meet business objectives.
• Monitor financial performance, identify areas for cost optimization, and maximize profitability while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Report financial results and operational updates to the Japanese headquarters regularly.
• Lead the marketing and sales teams to promote the company’s dairy products in Singapore and international markets.
• Drive the development of new product lines, working closely with R&D and marketing to meet customer demand and market trends.
• Identify potential business risks and implement strategies to mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.
• Build and lead a high-performing local team, fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and operational excellence
• Act as the primary liaison between Singapore-based operations and the headquarters in Japan.
• Communicate operational performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to HQ.
• Ensure alignment of Singapore’s objectives with the global vision and ensure smooth cross-cultural communication between teams

Requirement:

• Proven experience as a Managing Director or senior executive in a manufacturing company, preferably in the dairy industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams across cultures.
• Expertise in managing large-scale manufacturing operations and optimizing production efficiency.
• Excellent financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
