We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Director of International Business Development to lead our expansion into new global markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate business development, strategic partnerships, and international market entry. This role requires a highly motivated leader with deep knowledge of global business landscapes, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute international business expansion strategies, identifying key markets and opportunities for growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with multinational corporations, government agencies, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead the market entry process, including regulatory compliance, partnership development, and operational setup.
  • Drive strategic partnerships and joint ventures to enhance the company’s global presence.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in different regions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (finance, marketing, legal, operations) to ensure seamless international expansion.
  • Oversee deal structuring, contract negotiations, and closing agreements with partners and clients.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure the achievement of business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Represent the company at international trade shows, conferences, and networking events to strengthen brand visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, International Relations, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in international business development, corporate sales, or global expansion strategy.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing international market entry plans and securing high-value deals.
  • Extensive network of contacts in China, Singapore, Southeast Asia, and other key global markets.
  • Strong knowledge of cross-border business regulations, trade policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to assess new business opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for business meetings and market expansion activities.
