Actively participate in VAM Field Service commercial growth: respond to Service quotations and negotiate contracts with customers.
Management and Operations:
Recruit, train and manage the VAM Field Service employees in the country.
Ensure all staff are competent in their job requirements through training, testing, and appraisals as per VAM Field Service policy.
Perform individual appraisals.
Conduct business in compliance with all company policies (Vallourec Management System, code of conduct, ethics, safety, quality, HR, environment, travel and expenses).
Plan rig days and resources to support regional operations.
Ensure daily job planning and allocate resources to support customer requirements.
Manage and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors, if any.
Control employee time sheets and approve monthly rig bonuses to be paid at month-end.
Review, approve and validate VAM Field Service job reports prior to sending to customers.
Update On-Line VAM Field Service DRIVE portal with planning and reports.
Ensure quality of service work leading to customer satisfaction.
Respond to technical questions from customers on VAM products and connections.
Propose amendments to VAM Field Service procedures.
Provide consultancy for troubleshooting or product integrity investigation when required.
Manage the VAM Services APAC team in line with the objectives defined by the functional manager and the VAM Services General Manager.
P&L and Administration:
Prepare budget for the region from invoiced days to headcount and P&L.
Responsible for region EBITDA results and compliance to budget.
Track and publish region monthly VFSI – Key Performance Indicators.
Maintain and approve invoicing monthly.
Ensure cash collection is performed routinely and maintain receivables within targets.
Ensure cost control on all expenses in the country and purchase activity (materials, subcontractors).
Ensure all country and local structure regulatory compliance reporting and compliance.
Consolidate VAM Services APAC activity.
Within limits decided by Vallourec Global Solution Operation Director, has delegation of authority on:
Sales of Field Services.
Purchasing for subcontractors.
Recruitment & termination of personnel in the region.
Communication with customers for Field Service issues.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience as Managing Director, General Manager, or Senior Profile.
Minimum Master Degree in Engineering or Materials Science is a MUST.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, with at least 5 years of VAM experience is a MUST.
Strong commercial, financial and operational background, with an ability to apply appropriate principles.
Strong leadership, drive and ability to inspire and develop teams.
Strong decision-making, problem-solving, critical thinking and influencing skills.
