Manager/Senior Manager, HR Business Partner, APAC

Purpose Statement

Support the execution of Human Capital Strategy via alignment of HR initiatives and processes. Partner with HR leaders and HR Centers of Excellence to address and satisfy the strategic needs of client groups. Provide HR leadership and direction to organization and may manage team members at the site level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing HR leadership and team direction in areas such as competency development, succession planning, talent management, talent acquisition, labor relations, employment law compliance, employee relations, employee engagement, change management, and process improvement.
  • Coach and consult with management on issues affecting morale, performance, development, and organization effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and direction to client group(s) to ensure consistent, equal, and fair treatment of all employees.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to address client group(s) requirements.
  • Present, train and/or facilitate workforce development programs.
  • Introduce, lead and influence change management initiatives with client group leaders.
  • Conduct and manage investigation of complaints and concerns that could result in legal ramifications.

Talent Acquisition

  • Co-ordinate all operational aspects of internal and external recruitment and selection.
  • Prepare employment contracts and follow through with pre-employment preparations.
  • Onboard APAC HQ employees located in Singapore.
  • Monitor applicants and track speed to hire.

Talent Management

  • Identify leadership gaps and develop retention plans.

Performance Management

  • Lead the implementation of effective performance planning and management processes.

Organization Design and Development

  • Lead the review of organizational structure and implement career paths.

Learning & Development

  • Identify learning needs and collaborate with L&D to deliver programs.

Employee Engagement

  • Develop and implement programs to foster a strong culture of engagement.

Building Leadership Pipeline for the Future/Employer Branding

  • Manage campus recruitment and internship programs.

Employment Policies and Benefits Administration

  • Ensure all employment and benefits policies are current and updated.
  • Administer APAC President’s Club and Functional Excellence Programs.
  • Provide accurate and timely payroll processing.

Drive HR Operational Efficiency

  • Continuously strive to improve HR operations.
  • Standardize and improve HR processes.

Management Reporting and Analytics – APAC

  • Provide reports to local authorities and generate accurate and timely attrition reports.

Support to APAC HQ and VP, HR APAC

  • Follow-up on Employee Engagement Survey and manage programs and projects as required.

Key Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a business partnering role.
  • A business and customer-focused HR professional with strategic experience.
  • Proven generalist/business partner with the ability to lead HR activities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, changing environment within an HR team.
