The successful candidate will be required to undertake the following roles and responsibilities:-
Supervise and handle full set of accounts (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Asset, Inventory);
Prepare monthly management reports and analysis;
Prepare statutory reporting;
Draw up annual budget and cash-flow forecast;
Develop financial models, perform financial due diligence and evaluate potential M&A or investment projects which includes overseeing the deal process, negotiating commercial terms and supporting any other business development;
Provide guidance to overseas business units in preparation of budgets, analysis and reporting of financial results;
Guide and coach internal stakeholders to improve and streamline process workflow, internal controls and compliance; and
Undertake special projects as and when assigned.
The successful candidate should preferably possess the following:-
At least a bachelor’s degree with post graduate/ professional qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or Law;
Strong knowledge and experience in IFRS accounting and reporting is highly valued;
At least 10 years of relevant experience in Investment, Finance, Accounting, Tax or Audit;
Experience in business development, end-to-end M & A activities, structuring will be an added advantage;
Ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
Possess strong business acumen and a flair for financial modelling, planning and analysis and problem solving;
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills;
Strong interpersonal, communication, written and spoken negotiation skills and;
Committed and self-driven individual with good stress management.
