Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the compliance to data governance laws and regulations in data management practices, while also providing expert guidance to A*GA on data governance matters.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to data security and integrity. Implement audit trails and compliance checks for all A*GA critical data sets.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve/monitor data quality metrics within A*GA.
• Prepare and present detailed data reports using visualisation tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
• Support A*GA decisions through data cleaning and analysis of historical data from various available sources.
• Support digitalisation, process automation and transformation initiatives as well as knowledge management efforts.
• Undertake ad hoc duties or projects assigned by his/her leaders and management (e.g. Deputy Chief Executive, Executive Director, and Director).

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or other related disciplines with substantial quantitative content.
• A degree in Data Science and Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent would be preferred.
• Must possess an independent problem-solving mindset with a strong desire to find innovative solutions to data-related problems.
• Strong analytical thinking skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, and relevant experience in using data analytics software tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and automation software tools (e.g., MS Power Automate, UiPath) will be an advantage.
• Ability to work under tight timelines when required.
