Manager - Project (Interior Design - Hotel & Residential)

Overview:

This role encompasses leadership and management of all interior design aspects for our prestigious residential and hotel projects. You will ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, innovative designs that meet project objectives and brand standards. Candidate with significant experience will be given the opportunities to lead the department.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of interior design professionals. Responsibilities include setting project objectives, delegating tasks, mentoring team members.
• Potential to advance to leadership role which include driving departmental strategy, overseeing multiple projects, and developing future leaders.
• Manage the complete interior design lifecycle for assigned projects, ensuring consistent quality, or oversee the entire project portfolio, ensuring design excellence and operational efficiency, depending on the level.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project goals or lead strategic cross-functional alignment, depending on the level.
• Research and develop innovative design solutions or champion a culture of design innovation and elevate standards, depending on the level.
• Prepare project updates and reports, securing necessary approvals.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain high-quality standards.
• Establish and enforce quality control processes.
• Manage project budgets as well as vendor relationships.

Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Minimum 7 years in interior design, with a track record of successful projects.
• Deep understanding of interior design principles, materials, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and lead teams or strategically lead a department.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous
