About the role
The Manager – People Strategy & HRIS plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the organization's HR strategy by aligning people initiatives with business objectives. This role serves as a strategic partner to leadership, driving transformation across HR functions to foster a high-performance culture and operational excellence. Responsible for leading the development, enhancement, and governance of the HRIS ecosystem, the manager ensures systems and data support decision-making and streamline service delivery. Additionally, the manager champions continuous improvement through process optimization, leveraging technology to deliver scalable, efficient, and future-ready HR operations.
What you'll be doing
Develop and implement HR strategy to support the organisation's overall business objectives. Serve as a thought partner to the HR team, providing insight and recommendations to enhance workforce productivity, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Lead transformation initiatives to optimize the delivery of HR services, foster a high-performance culture, and strengthen HR-business integration.
Lead the administration and continuous enhancement of the HRIS (e.g., HRiQ, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), ensuring system functionality supports strategic HR and business needs. Oversee HR system implementation, configuration, upgrades, integrations, IT and vendor relationships. Ensure data integrity, user access security, and compliance with data privacy regulations. Act as the primary point of contact for HR systems, supporting process automation and self-service functionality.
Analyse workforce data and metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements and strategic decision-making
Lead the design, implementation and optimisation of HR processes, procedures and programs. Partner with IT and other cross-functional teams to implement technology solutions that increase automation, efficiency, and user experience.
What we're looking for
8+ years of experience in a strategic HR management role, preferably with IHRP-SP certification or equivalent
Strong working knowledge of HRIS platforms such as HRiQ, Oracle HCM, etc
Advanced Excel and data analytics skills; proven experience with tools like SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar is highly desirable.
Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
In-depth understanding of HR best practices and employment legislation
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field
