As an integral member of the People & Culture team, you will serve as the designated business partner to the assigned business. You will play a key role in partnering business leaders to deliver high-quality HR services efficiently. You will also manage HR initiatives and programmes related to rewards, talent management, succession planning, performance management and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Provide people advisory services to business leaders to help them achieve their business unit’s strategic objectives.
Leverage the HR agenda to help business build capabilities.
Work closely with business leaders on manpower planning, which includes developing and tracking staff headcount and staff cost budget.
Identify and formulate HR strategies and programmes to support business needs and drive business performance.
Provide guidance and advice to line managers on managing staff performance and developmental improvement processes.
Resolve staff conflicts and provide coaching, consultative advice and assistance to all employees.
Participate in any Ad-hoc HR projects/initiative.
Competencies and Attributes:
Degree in Business Administration with focus in Human Resources Management preferred.
IHRP certified.
At least 8 years of HR business partnering experience.
Collaborative and outcome focus.
Good working knowledge of employment legislation, general HR policies and best practices.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong people skills with ability to influence and manage staff of all levels.
Hands-on with ability to multi-task in a fast moving and rapidly changing environment.
Analytical and able to work comfortably with numbers.
