Manager - NetZero & Carbon

Responsibilities:

Research and Innovation:

1. Guide the direction of the products to ensure market leadership, adapting to new regional and international regulations.
2. Develop and maintain roadmap and strategy to secure technological advantage.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, engineering, product) to design innovative decarbonization solutions - Green Hydrogen/Ammonia, LCA, VPPA, and Carbon Credits.
4. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market needs related to digital battery solutions.
5. Lead the development of prototypes and proof-of-concepts to ensure alignment with the product/solution roadmap.

Business Development and Customer Engagement:

1. Engage in deep and meaningful conversations with clients, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Net Zero strategies.
2. Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on carbon reduction strategies, emissions reporting, and sustainability initiatives.
3. Develop and implement strategies to capture customer demand, working closely with Sales and GTM colleagues.
4. Identify new business opportunities and partnerships within the Net Zero space.

Team Management and Partnership:

1. Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of experts in carbon accounting, carbon offsetting, renewable energy, and related fields.
2. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
3. Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and other forums to promote thought leadership in carbon management and sustainability.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Sustainability/Environmental/Chemical or a related field (Master's or higher preferred).
2. At least 10 years of experience in Carbon Accounting, Consulting, or decarbonization field with strong technical knowledge.
3. Consulting background strongly preferred.
4. Strong understanding of carbon accounting principles, greenhouse gas emissions quantification methodologies, and carbon offsetting mechanisms.
5. Proven experience in strategic planning, team management, and stakeholder engagement.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
7. Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
8. Proven track record of engaging government funding bodies and stakeholders in CoE management and audits.
9. Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is a plus.
10. Passion for sustainability and decarbonization preferred.

This position will be based in Singapore.
