Ensure system and network infrastructure and associated technologies operate efficiently, are highly available, and perform within agreed targets.
Contribute to the strategic planning, budgeting, development, implementation, and enforcement of IT operational procedures, policies, and standards associated with cyber security and system capacity planning.
Lead and provide operational support for all data centres, server rooms, servers (both on-premise and Cloud), and network equipment across the organization.
Collaborate with IT colleagues, especially the Cyber Security team, to ensure cyber and physical security adequacy of the IT infrastructure.
Recommend measures to prevent and detect unplanned system and network outages to ensure maximum availability.
Maintain up-to-date inventory and documentation for network equipment, servers, and laptop/desktop computers.
Manage the implementation of network and infrastructure-related projects.
Provide IT Network/Infrastructure leadership and input into application systems and cyber security projects.
Partner with IT colleagues and vendors to resolve IT infrastructure issues and perform change requests.
Source, manage, and work with vendors for the smooth operations and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure.
Assist relevant teams in the fulfillment of Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP), and Cyber Security Incident Response Plan.
Provide technical support and administration for Windows and non-Windows Servers, desktop computers, and peripheral devices.
Assist with the submission of approval papers and ad-hoc projects requiring support from the Infrastructure team.
Manage a team of IT staff in fulfillment of the above responsibilities.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology, or relevant discipline.
At least 10 years of Infrastructure and Operations experience, including 2 years in Cyber Security and Cloud computing experience with Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Office365.
Hands-on technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, IT operating systems, and products, including:
Windows and Linux operating systems
Network devices, such as routers, switches, and load balancers
System and network architecture and design, such as LAN/WAN, Virtualization, VPN
System and network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds)
Exchange Server, SAN, Active Directory, Group Policy
End-user computing, such as PCs, printing, videoconferencing
