Manager, Investment and Asset Management

The Role

This position will be responsible for assisting the BU head and SVP in portfolio management of the BU’s assets in the ANA markets, BU-level initiatives and reporting as well as syndication of new private funds. He/She will also be expected to support the country teams in new investments and divestments, and asset management initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in portfolio management of the BU’s assets in the ANA markets.
• Assist in BU-level and HQ initiatives such as budgeting and forecasting, valuation, management retreats, ESG, digitalisation & corporate governance initiatives, etc.
• Assist in various BU-level reporting.
• Assist in syndication of new private funds and fund management.
• Support country teams in investment and divestment transactions including deal evaluation and preparation of approval papers.
• Support country teams in reviewing their policies and SOPs, and ensuring proper compliance of corporate policies and SOPs.
• Support country teams in formulating and executing asset management initiatives and potential exit strategies to optimise asset value.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Real Estate, Building, Business, Finance, Engineering or its equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience in investment and asset management.
• Familiarity with real estate markets
• Resourceful, have an analytical mind and proficiency in financial modeling.
• Good teamwork, strong initiative, good business and financial acumen, and great independence in working in a fast-paced environment.
