Position Summary:

Inside Sales Manager is responsible for managing and/or supporting field strategic sales plans and initiatives to achieve corporate revenue goals. They will lead a team of Inside Sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance objectives. Key responsibilities include streamlining and enhancing sales processes while collaborating closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives. The Manager, Inside Sales should have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment, as they will collaborate with various professionals. Additionally, they should also be able to lead, mentor, and motivate the Inside Sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment dedicated to providing exceptional support. Ultimately, the Manager, Inside Sales should be able to build a high-performance sales team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):

  • Manage the assigned Inside Sales team members
  • Work closely with the field sales team and other departments to ensure Inside Sales alignment and support for sales initiatives
  • Streamline and enhance sales processes to improve the efficiency and productivity of the team
  • Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines
  • Oversee the management and analysis of sales data, ensuring accuracy and reliability
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts for sales leaders as needed
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service and building long-term customer relationships both internally and externally
  • Ensure sales, finance, and legal policies and procedures are met by the team
  • Empower team members to look for opportunities to partner with field teams
  • Build an open communication environment for your team

Education Requirements:

  • Degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field

Experience Requirements:

  • 3-5 Years’ work experience in a Sales leadership role, ideally as an Inside Sales Team Lead/Supervisor position
  • Experience working with Inside teams that support field sales teams.
  • Hands on experience with SFDC software, MS Office Tools, NetSuite experience preferred
  • In-depth understanding of the sales administration process
  • Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills
  • Experience working cross functionally with the field, finance, legal, order operations
  • Ability to command the room, influence, and serve as a trusted adviser to internal partners and teams
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, you will regularly be required to communicate verbally by means of spoken words to impart oral information to internal/external clients and have the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech one-on-one (in person or by telephone), in a group or conference (in person or by telephone); use hands to enter text or data into a laptop computer or other device by means of a keyboard, keypad, touch screen, computer mouse and other; clarity of vision for use of computers. The employee frequently is required to alternately sit/stand at will. This position full-time, 40 hour per week, 5 consecutive working days (approximately 8 hours per day) position with occasional over-time requirements. Occasional travel by plane or car may be necessary to attend company events.
