About the role

As the Senior IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's information technology infrastructure and operations. This is a full-time position and will involve leading a team of IT professionals to ensure the smooth running and continuous improvement of the company's technology systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Management & Planning
   • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with organizational goals, including system solutions and infrastructure development.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT initiatives support business processes, including operations, clients, and management.
   • Manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and regulatory requirements.
2. Infrastructure & Systems Management
   • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including application systems, cloud solutions, and network services.
   • Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of IT systems to support operations and related projects.
3. Software Development & Cybersecurity Compliance
   • Lead the development and maintenance of all system solutions.
   • Enforce robust cybersecurity measures to protect data and systems.
   • Establish disaster recovery protocols and incident response strategies to mitigate IT risks.
   • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards, including data protection, software licensing, and cybersecurity regulations.
4. Leadership & Project Management
   • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
   • Manage IT vendor relationships and contracts.
   • Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing costs.
   • Provide training and development opportunities to IT staff.
5. Technology Evaluation
   • Continuously evaluate and assess emerging technologies for potential organizational impact.
   • Propose and implement IT solutions that enhance business productivity, operational efficiency, and sustainability within the business industry.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior IT management role, with comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure.
• Extensive experience in software development, including hands-on expertise with .NET MVC, C#, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of database management and optimization using SQL, with the ability to design and manage complex database structures.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a diverse IT team, including software developers and system administrators.
• Excellent project management and budgeting skills, with a track record of delivering IT solutions on time and within budget.
• Expertise in cybersecurity practices, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to think strategically and implement IT initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Team player with the ability to work independently to meet pre-determined targets and deliverables timeline.
• Good command of the English language.
