The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) aims to provide excellent healthcare and promote healing centred around each person. When operational, EGH will provide a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient clinical specialties and healthcare services, covering emergency, acute and secondary care. EGH’s vision is to be a hospital for the community and a great workplace for staff. It seeks to do so by harnessing innovative technologies in patient care, journeying closely with patients and the community to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives, and being an employer of choice that empowers staff in their careers.
You will be part of the Talent Acquisition team, playing a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic hiring plans to meet EGH’s evolving workforce needs. This includes managing the full recruitment lifecycle, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and strengthening EGH’s employer branding and outreach efforts to attract top talent. You will oversee pre-service sponsorships and scholarship programmes, ensuring a sustainable talent pipeline for EGH.
A significant part of your role will involve engaging with hiring managers to understand workforce demands, optimising recruitment workflows, and leveraging data-driven hiring strategies. You will actively implement digital recruitment marketing initiatives, manage talent outreach programmes, and explore innovative ways to enhance the candidate experience and improve hiring efficiency. Additionally, you will support EGH’s long-term workforce sustainability efforts, working closely with educational institutions, government agencies, and professional bodies to promote careers in healthcare. You will also play a vital role in ensuring compliance with employment regulations, maintaining best practice in recruitment operations, and identifying process improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
The role will give you the opportunity to be part of EGH’s exciting development milestones, shaping the future workforce of a next-generation healthcare institution.
