Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, offering proactive and value-added HR solutions, guidance, and strategies aligned with business goals and objectives. This includes advising on talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
Provide expert interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures, employment legislation, and regulatory compliance (including but not limited to relevant labor laws and industry-specific regulations). This includes advising on matters related to licensing, accreditation, and other legal requirements.
Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies. This includes workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and talent development initiatives aimed at meeting current and future staffing needs, while adhering to budgetary constraints and organizational succession planning.
Proactively address employee relations matters, fostering positive employee relations and contributing to strategies to improve employee engagement, morale, and retention. This involves identifying and mitigating potential risks, resolving conflicts, and developing initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
Lead or participate in cross-functional projects, initiatives, and committees related to HR and organizational development, collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., government agencies, unions). This may involve project planning, execution, and reporting.
Utilize data and analytics to inform HR strategies and decision-making, providing regular reports and insights on key HR metrics such as employee turnover, engagement levels, and talent acquisition effectiveness.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
8+ years of experience in a human resources function, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role.
Demonstrated experience in strategic HR planning, talent management, employee relations, and performance management.
Strong knowledge of employment law and relevant regulations.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to influence and work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in relevant HR technologies and data analysis tools.
