Manager - Healthtech Planning (ETPO)

Position Overview

As the Entity Tech Planning Manager you will be part of the BSG (Business Services Group) Planning Group – Entity Tech Plans Office to support the planning for MOHH Entities’ IT technology and demand management of the technology needs. You are also responsible to maintain oversight of Synapxe workplan conversion and cancellation/deferment requests.

You will work closely with Entities’ stakeholders and internal Synapxe stakeholders to develop and maintain the entities technology roadmaps, align workplan demands with Synapxe overall technology roadmaps and entities IT masterplans, coordinate the annual workplan and quarterly business planning activities, and track the entity-level commitment utilisation and demand conversion of workplans.

You will report to the Entity Technology Planning Deputy Director.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support the ETPO leadership team in the administrative activities e.g. documentation updates to the IT capability roadmaps and systems roadmaps
• Organise and conduct annual workplanning activities with Entity CIOO and key stakeholders in support of BSG Planning teams
• Organise and conduct weekly entity review sessions on workplan, tracking progress and following up on key open items from previous meetings.
• Assist in the tracking of entity-level commitment utilization and demand conversion data, updating budget planning and workplan systems (e.g. BET, ITBM) as necessary
• Analyse, review and align on annual entity CAPEX and OPEX budgets
• Maintain oversight of entity workplan conversion rate and budget utilisation.
• Organise and conduct QBR sessions with Entity CIOO to review adhoc and new workplan items, align on prioritization and support system/project teams to secure approvals for prioritized and supported workplan items
• Support leadership team in entity level governance and management forums where required
• Support the Entity Planning Director and Deputy Entity Planning Director in tracking and reporting related to Entity Technology Planning function for the respective entities.
• Manage entity technology plans issue/ risk log and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to follow up on open items.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to follow up on open items and mitigate risks and resolve issues
• Raise any potential issues and risks related to these initiatives to Entity Technology Planning Director and Deputy Director to enable appropriate interventions

Requirements

• Relevant Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• At least 7 to 10 years of relevant hands-on experience in IT project management and application support
• Experience in development of IT masterplans and roadmaps
• Possess good understanding of business and IT needs to apply to development of technology roadmap and planning
• Strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently and handle ambiguity.
• Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to manage diverse groups of stakeholders
• Experience in healthcare technology industry is an added advantage
