Job description

The Manager, Group Digital Office will drive the development and implementation of Digital services and features. The successful candidate will realise new digital services and features by working with stakeholders including patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals and support functions. You will be a key member of our Digital Team accountable for delivery of core elements of our digital strategy.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead delivery of Digital projects under the organisation's digital strategy.
  2. Shape and lead new projects by conducting research to develop understanding of user needs.
  3. Develop concepts for inclusion into the organisation's suite of digital services and features.
  4. Manage interactions with third parties on concept development and implementation planning.
  5. Analyse patient, caregiver, resident and healthcare staff user experience data to identify areas for improvement.
  6. Develop and document user requirements and project scope for new digital applications, or enhancements to existing applications.
  7. Develop Digital workplan documents including budgets, procurement and award approval papers.
  8. Manage planning for development of digital services and features in collaboration with Group Digital Office, Group Contact Centre, Service Transformation, and Group IT representatives.
  9. Project manage Digital implementation workplans working with team members and stakeholders in the organisation, third party partners and vendors across the Software Development Lifecycle.
  10. Lead cross-functional collaboration to design comprehensive integration plans for guiding the implementation across the parties of the organisation, third party partners, and vendors.
  11. Monitor and ensure project implementation is in accordance to project and quality assurance procedures and methodologies including timely project updates to the required stakeholders and forums.
  12. Work with the organisation's IT PMO Team for tracking, monitoring and reporting of project status as well as budget utilisation.

Requirements

  1. Degree/diploma in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
  2. At least 5 years work experience preferably in the areas of Digital, IT or Technology Enabled Change.
  3. Proven success forming and implementing Digital or IT projects.
  4. Proven track record in project management, user and vendor management for mid-scale projects.
  5. Strong project management skills and ability to work independently.
  6. Ability to manage ambiguity, multi-task and work under tight timelines.
  7. Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills.
  8. Structured thinker with ability to organise their work and that of others.
  9. Self-starter with strong leadership skills, accountability and ownership.
  10. Collaborative team player, seeks out opportunities to work with others to realise outcomes.
  11. Effective working in a matrix organisation where individuals play multiple roles.
  12. Ability to communicate complex issues both concisely and in detail as required.
  13. Ability to work in a distributed team environment, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
  14. Able to collaborate across business, IT, third party partners and vendors.
