As a member of Google’s Government Affairs and Public Policy team, you'll be part of a diverse global government affairs team, working across regions, product areas, and functions. As a member of the Public Affairs team for the APAC region, you will be focused primarily on the Japan market. You will work with the broader Government Affairs and Public Policy team and key cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Public Relations (PR), and Google Organization at the market level to shape Google’s efforts to demonstrate our positive economic and cultural impact on the country.
You will be a member of the APAC GAPP team that develops our regional strategy to build and maintain reputation with policymakers and influencers, find common ground with stakeholders through events and convenings, and demonstrate Google’s value to policymakers in new and creative ways. You will design and organize critical plans and initiatives at the market level. You will need excellent investigative and organizational skills, the ability to communicate efficiently in person and in writing, an aptitude for learning, an ability to develop and implement creative ideas, and the discipline to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
