Manager, Global Product Launch and Technology

Objectives of the Position

Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational product management within the product portfolio. Ensure operational excellence is achieved within the assigned business area, closing gaps between business management and functional units.

Main Tasks

Operational Excellence - day to day

• Accountable for company standards in organization and product compliance.
• Training for key stakeholders on standards, formulations, packaging.
• Active portfolio management to reduce formulation complexity & managing the rationalization of the segment product according to the strategy.
• Continuous value optimization striving efficiency and cost optimization in existing operations processes
• Defining and coordinating business models and packaging concepts for products in the respective segment portfolio.

Product Launch Excellence - Operational Readiness Manager for all launches

• Launch coordination across several functions such as: master data, supply chain, packaging and labeling, regulatory, quality assurance and product launch related operations.
• Definition and supply coordination of the product and packaging.
• Know how transfer across the regions, lead the Product Launch processes.
• Accountable for on-time product launches.

Master data Manager for Segment products from all involved regional manufacturing sites

• Accountable for the appropriate Master Data set-up and Consistency through all documents.
• Manages the overall operations launch process and provides process technology support for formulated products manufactured in-house and in contract manufacturing facilities.
• Overall management and ownership of the Operations Launch Process (ORT) .
• Supports site selection and startup of new products.
• Technology resource for startup operations and troubleshooting for assigned products.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree of Engineering, Scientific Discipline or other related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, logistic or other related filed.
• Understanding of Marketing/Sales concepts and strategy
• Project Management in interdisciplinary and international teams
• Experience with ERP and/or SAP Software Systems
• Critical and strategic thinking skills. Str technical and interpersonal skills
