The Finance community which supports the various NUHS institutions consists of professionals with backgrounds in healthcare, corporate, data analytics, project and risk management, accounting and assurance. Some of the scope covered include:

  • Prepare accurate and timely management reports to provide insights into financial performance, enabling informed decision-making by senior management.
  • Manage the year-end financial closing process, including group consolidation, preparation of financial statements and facilitating statutory audit process.
  • Partner with institutions and relevant stakeholders for management and forecasting of cash flow, to optimize working capital and ensure compliance with treasury policies.
  • Prepare treasury related reports, including cash position, liquidity risk and investment performance to senior management.
  • Take part in budgeting process, collaborating with assigned Institutions and direct team to develop comprehensive budgets that align with organisational goals and priorities.
  • Drive process enhancement projects.

Requirements

  • Possess a good Degree in Business, Accountancy, Economics or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of relevant working experience, with audit background preferred.
  • Strong sense of business acumen and strong stakeholder management in large and complex environment.
  • Meticulous and highly analytical capabilities.
  • Exhibits high degree of initiative and independence.
  • Able to structure, simplify and improve processes within a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable leading projects and chairing discussions.
  • Experience managing small teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, such as Excel (advanced), Macros, Power Point, Word.
  • Proven capabilities with SAP and/or BPC knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Strong communicator, with a flair for designing concise PowerPoint presentations.
