Group FP&A Manager – Finance Business Intelligence
About The Role
The Group FP&A team is an integral part of Dyson’s Finance community, supported by data-driven analysis and insights. The Finance Business Intelligence (FBI) team delivers reporting and analysis of performance across the group, both financial and non-financial, liaising directly with global teams to provide support to the Dyson Executive Team. As a Centre of Excellence for Financial Analysis and Data, we deliver strategic insights and future-ready solutions to enable data-driven decision making as a valued and credible business partner.
Our Strategic Focus Areas Include
The FBI team has 3 core pillars – Data, Visualisation and Finance, and team members are developed with a specialisation track, but with strong working knowledge across all pillars. Team Managers will have responsibility over the delivery roadmap and governance, driving collaborative solutions and being the subject matter expert in their respective pillars.
You will have a strong technical understanding of data platforms, visualization tools, and financial reporting, with advanced proficiency in at least one of the aspects. Adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness in delivering a challenging roadmap whilst our data landscape is transforming will be key to your success.
We use Google Cloud Platform and Tableau as our main technologies, but also have an estate of data and reporting platforms. Application of these tools, or similar, to design solutions is key. There may also be times that you need to get hands-on with this technology, delivering content yourself and exploring new functionality available in our toolset.
You will be highly organised, enjoy delivering analytics solutions, and managing resources to ensure deadlines are met and the quality of content served remains high.
