Having clear understanding of the requirements and scope of services as determined by MSF, described in the respective service and funding models.
Seeing to the recruitment and hiring of all staff members required to support the operations of the service, supported by MWS HR Team.
Liaising with MSF on matters relating to funding, compliance, and other such operational issues.
Seeing to the set-up of the permanent office, supported by MWS Facilities team where required.
Liaising and coordinating with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to create awareness.
Establishing desired clinical and service standards of the Programme.
Ensure supervisors and social workers’ compliance to professional processes (e.g., use of tools and templates, adherence to practice policies) and Service Standards Requirements (SSRs).
Establish compliance to financial controls and SOPs for finance and admin teams (facility, financial and ad hoc programmes management).
2. Audit Compliance
Ensure audit compliance for all annual audits by MSF and MWS.
3. Clinical & Service Excellence
Manage and regularly review operational and clinical processes to ensure that they meet the desired service standards of the programme.
4. Team Management & Professional Development
Provide platforms for sharing and training of team members to help them improve their skills.
Offer supervision and coaching for team members.
5. Outreach & Engagement
Provide platforms for sharing and training of external stakeholders.
Represent in media queries, where required, and/or other public relations platform, in consultation with MWS Communications & Engagement Team.
Create synergies and opportunities for exchange and education.
6. Other Duties
Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Group Director, Family Services and Associate Director - Strategic Development, Family Services.
Support the development of new programmes and services, when required.
Job Requirements
Master / Bachelor / Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling or Social Work.
At least 5 years of experience in the sector doing Social Work or Counselling.
Minimum 2 years of experience in supervision of staff.
Registered counselor with SAC preferred.
Demonstrate sound and updated professional knowledge and skills in Counselling.
Strong clinical, supervision and leadership skills.
Able to handle risk cases and critical incidents required in casework and Counselling.
