Manager, Demand Creation Operations

Job Purpose:

The Demand Creation Operations Manager will collaborate closely with the Regional Technical Director (RTD) and Regional Technical Manager (RTM) to build, manage, and guide a team of sales engineers within an assigned region. This role focuses on driving demand creation (DC) strategies and ensuring their effective execution. This person will also support performance tracking and provide necessary reports for DC performance reviews.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Oversee the performance and compliance of Field Application Engineers (FAEs), ensuring alignment with demand creation strategies.
• Organize demand creation activities to optimize the time and focus of the RTD and Advanced Engineers, allowing them to concentrate on high-priority customer-facing opportunities and design activities.
• Drive supplier growth and return on investment (ROI) by managing FAE tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Assignment Management:

• Regularly review and update focus engineering customers based on criteria such as DTAM/VTAM status, customer visit reports, and customer profiles in CRM.
• Maintain and revise the demand creation (DC) plan, providing clear justifications for adding or removing customers from the focus list.

FAE Performance Reviews:

• Partner with the RTD to assess FAE performance, including soft objectives and goals for new hires.
• Generate necessary reports for the RTD and regional teams to review FAE performance and demand creation efforts.

Ensure FAE Compliance:

• Monitor data integrity, especially in funnel management, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
• Ensure compliance with block diagram submissions and customer visit report requirements.

Supplier Training and Certification:

• Coordinate and support the supplier training and certification program, ensuring that team members meet necessary qualifications and competencies.

MBO and Budgeting Assistance:

• Assist RTM/RTD in setting annual MBO (Management by Objectives) goals and budgeting, aligning with the overall demand creation strategy.

Market Review (MR) Process Support:

• Assist in the execution of the market review process to assess performance and drive improvements.

Additional Support:

• Provide assistance for other demand creation-related programs and contribute to the generation of relevant reports as needed.

Qualifications:

• At least a Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry.

• Technically inclined, preferably with a background in semiconductor applications.
