Manager (Defence Trade & Tech Security)

What the role is:

You manage the implementation of MINDEF's defence technology security policies so as to safeguard Singapore's defence and security interests.

What you will be working on:

1. Implement MINDEF's defence technology security policies
2. Examine defence systems and technologies to assess transfer impacts
3. Collaborate with internal and external agencies
4. Carry out technical assessments of defence equipment and technologies related to non-proliferation and export controls
5. Conduct analytical studies related to the job
6. Keeping abreast of developments in strategic issues and current affairs that are related to export control and non-proliferation

What we are looking for:

1. Education in a Technical or Scientific field
2. Prior experience and knowledge in defence-related work and/or export control is advantageous
3. Good communication and writing skills (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
