About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Corporate Secretarial to join our established client, largest professional services firm in Singapore outside of the Big Four.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of corporate secretarial professionals and ensuring the delivery of high-quality corporate secretarial services to our diverse client base. This is a full-time position based in our Dhoby Ghaut office in the Central Region.
What you'll be doing
• Managing a team of staff and a portfolio of clients in providing corporate secretarial and advisory services
• Attending and drafting of board and board committee meeting’s minutes
• To perform high-level review on staff’s deliverables and provide value-add to the work to be given to clients.
• Experience in handling a portfolio of clients across diverse industries
• Provide good client service ensuring clients receive prompt responses to requests and queries.
• Responsible for ensuring that commitment to client are followed-up in a timely manner, that the clients are satisfied and to continually engage with clients
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of existing and potential clients, their industry and key contacts
• Meet prospective clients and prepare fee proposals, including follow-up
• Oversee daily operations of the team
• Oversee credit control and prompt collection of debts for the portfolio of clients. Work with Finance to follow-up on outstanding and doubtful debts
• Ensure prompt billing
What we're looking for
• Relevant experience in corporate secretarial field, preferably from professional corporate service providers
• Minimum of an ICSA qualified Chartered Secretary or hold an LLB degree or equivalent with 7 to 10 years relevant working experience, including experience in handling public-listed companies
• Excellent client servicing skills and strong problem solving skills
• Extensive and in-depth knowledge of Companies Act and Code of Corporate Governance
• Able to work independently and work under tight deadlines
• Able to train, lead and motivate a team of professional staff
• Meticulous, organized, detailed and deadline-oriented
