JOB DESCRIPTION

A*STAR's Corporate Communications (CC) division showcases the organisation's R&D collaborations and outcomes, maintaining its visibility in a fast-paced media landscape. We communicate how our discoveries translate into meaningful outcomes for the public, industry, and scientific community through a dynamic, multi-channel approach.

We seek a creative and strategic individual to safeguard A*STAR’s brand identity by enforcing brand guidelines and ensuring that all visual elements and tone of voice across internal and external communications consistently reflect A*STAR’s mission, values, and objectives. As the brand gatekeeper, this role ensures that our messaging is clear, consistent, and compelling. Additionally, this individual will collaborate with the team to create and execute targeted content that delivers the right message to the right audience at the right time.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of brand strategy, identity and governance with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring brand consistency in all aspects of communication and design. This individual needs to be a proactive problem-solver, a strong communicator and an agile team player.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Be the brand champion and expert while ensuring brand integrity in all respects, including setting style guides and brand guidelines
    Support the development of brand strategies and content production to communicate the A*STAR vision and mission through partnerships, social media and other marketing tactics
    Oversee the selection, customisation, and distribution of corporate gifts and merchandise ensuring they are consistent with brand guidelines and messaging
    Leverage data to discover insights for comms and marketing campaigns, projects and initiatives
    Provide support for other comms and marketing campaigns, projects and initiatives

This role reports to the Senior Assistant Director, Corporate Communications (Branding and Marketing).
