Manager, Contracts Management (West/ Ref: GAS)

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for project procurement and contracts management e.g. budgeting, cost control, funding approval etc.
• Ensure organization procurement policies are in alignment with public sector procurement framework.
• Support and set directions to project team on matters pertaining to cost, procurement, contracts and capitalization.
• Review and check tender documents before evaluating and awarding tenders and quotations for construction works and services.
• Work closely with the project team on contract administration including but not limited to contract documentation, progress payments, management of variation works etc.
• Ensure project is kept within budget by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budget, scheduling expenditures, assessing change requests and initiating any corrective actions.
• Monitor project cashflow and exercise cost controls.
• Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders and management.
• Any other relevant duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience as a contracts manager/quantity surveyor in public/developer organisations or consulting firms.
• Good working experience and knowledge of public sector procurement framework and policies.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous with an eye for details.
