Purpose of Job

To conceptualise, develop, implement, monitor and evaluate projects pertaining to fundraising and donor, partner and volunteer engagement & management and communications.

Scope

Fundraising

  1. To conceptualise, develop, implement, monitor and evaluate fundraising initiatives and strategies.
  2. Manage and execute fundraising projects with budget and schedule.
  3. Build and strengthen collaborative relationships with donors, partners and volunteers.
  4. Implement cloud-based Donor Management solutions to improve operational efficiency and IT security of the organisation’s donor management database.
  5. Raise funds by sourcing for sponsorships and donations from individuals and corporate entities.
  6. Write proposals and appeal letters that could attract donors, including applications for funding grants.
  7. Prepare and give presentations to potential individual and corporate stakeholders.
  8. Maintain and grow the database of sponsors and donors to advance digital donations.
  9. Ensure compliance with corporate governance, Charities Regulation and regulatory requirements of the agency and Singapore law.

Volunteer Management

  1. Conceptualise and implement volunteer programmes/events within budget, funding mechanism and timeliness.
  2. Build and strengthen collaborative relationships with donors, partners and volunteers.
  3. Implement cloud-based Volunteer Management solutions to improve operational efficiency and IT security of the organisation’s volunteer management database.
  4. Match volunteers to organisation needs and volunteer interests.
  5. Develop effective strategies to recruit new volunteers, conduct screening, interview and orientation.
  6. Identify suitable and effective training platforms for volunteers and train staff on volunteer management.
  7. Plan and organise formal and informal engagement programmes for volunteers including annual volunteer appreciation events.
  8. Manage volunteer registration, resource allocation, duty roster and track participation.
  9. Supervise volunteers and manage their service quality.
  10. Raise awareness of the organisation's volunteer programmes.
  11. Develop and maintain volunteer programme materials, such as application forms, policies and procedures, orientation handbook, etc.
  12. Manage volunteer communication collaterals, such as emails, EDM, event invitations, newsletters, etc.

Communications

  1. Proactively interact with online communities across all platforms and use social media monitoring tools to monitor conversations and report on metrics.
  2. Involve in planning, design and production of publicity materials.
  3. Maintain and provide updates to corporate websites and social media platforms.
  4. Manage all public and media relations and corporate communications functions, which include social media outlets such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, newsletters, press releases, etc.
  5. Provide support and conduct presentations to promote the services and programmes of the organisation.
  6. Network with stakeholders, community partners, social and welfare service agencies.

Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. 3-5 years of relevant work experience in community partnership and fundraising in social service agencies/IPC charities is preferred.
  2. Bachelor degree in a related field.
