Title and Summary
Manager, Channel Marketing. MasterCard is looking for a high-performing Partner / Channel Marketing Manager to join our growing global Partner Marketing team. This role is based in our Singapore office and will be responsible for supporting our top partners in APAC. We are looking for a seasoned channel/partner marketer who will accelerate pipeline and revenue growth through our partner program. The role owns all aspects of the marketing strategy for our priority partners in the region, including communicating with marketing contacts, creating co-marketing plans, and ensuring quality execution of the plans. You will work closely with the global Partner team, the global Marketing team, Industry SMEs, and the marketing contacts at the partners. This will require you to be an extremely effective collaborator and a great communicator - working across teams to drive outcomes, alignment and transparency. In this role you will have to think and act both strategically and tactically and leverage both your analytical and creative talents. The ideal candidate will have a strong POV, be a self-starter, and be comfortable with some level of ambiguity as this is an emerging initiative for the business.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with priority partners to build all aspects of each partner’s yearly marketing strategy including campaign/event planning, messaging, collateral, and execution.
- Work with our Scale Partner team to develop and execute partner campaigns.
- Own the relationship with Sales and Partnerships leaders in the region.
- Own the marketing relationships with our channel partners’ marketing counterparts.
- Directly influence and drive partner marketing programs for partner retention and growth across the APAC region.
- Work with demand generation, product marketing and corporate communications teams to support activations with key partners.
- Develop and consistently report out on partner marketing engagement, enablement, and performance metrics - using tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, and other data to inform decisions.
- Measures and communicates campaign performance and success to internal and external stakeholders, including developing desired specifications for campaign performance and evaluation.
- Monitors Partner Marketing budget to ensure that all campaigns, programs, and activities are producing solid ROI.
Requirements and Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in marketing, communication, or equivalent experience.
- 7-8+ years of channel product marketing experience in a global payment, data, B2B software or technology environment.
- Experience building and growing relationships with internal and external partners.
- Experience presenting campaign ideas and executing marketing initiatives through partnership with outside companies.
- Able to develop partner marketing strategies and frameworks, but also drive the execution of strategies.
- Successful candidates will excel at cross-group collaboration, creative thinking, problem solving and have a strong bias for action.
- Strong candidates will have an understanding of regional markets, specifically China, ASEAN-5, Australia, and Japan.
- Project management skills: multi-tasker able to meet deadlines and build stakeholder relationships despite ambiguous or shifting requirements.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, clear and compelling language.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including preparation and delivery of presentations.
- Able to travel as required for partner activations, no more than 35% travel.
- Candidates must be fluent in English. Strong candidates will also be able to speak Mandarin and/or other Asian languages.
