Job Title: Manager, Business Management

We are seeking a seasoned Manager, Business Management to join our Singapore Office. Our client is one of the top Industrial Surface Treatment companies, headquartered in Japan.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the General Manager in materializing business strategy through effective planning and execution.
2. Identify trends, new developments, and financial insights to meet business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
3. Conduct thorough market analysis, competitive landscape, and customer behavior research to identify opportunities and threats.
4. Develop and implement effective accounting management strategies to support the company's financial goals.
5. Establish mid- to long-term business strategies based on financial data and business forecasting.
6. Oversee the preparation of detailed financial reports, forecasts, and analysis to aid decision-making.
7. Manage monthly expenses, marginal profit, and business profit results to enhance organizational effectiveness.
8. Provide regular updates on business performance against targets and offer expert advice to the Plating's top management team and Japan HQ management.
9. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
2. 10 years of experience in a management accounting or budgeting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a team.
4. Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
5. Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities to align financial strategies with business objectives.
6. Proficient in the use of accounting systems, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
