Job Title: Manager, Business Management

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager, Business Management to join our team at Singapore Epson Industrial Pte Ltd - Plating Plant. This role will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial and budgeting functions, playing a key strategic role in supporting our overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the General Manager in materializing business strategy by carrying out effective planning on the entire business management.
• Identify Plating Industry business and market trends, new developments, and financial aspects to meet business KPI.
• Utilize data analytics and conduct thorough market analysis, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and threats.
• Develop and implement effective accounting management in fixed and variable costs, investment, and budgeting strategies to support the company's financial goals.
• Establish mid- and long-term business strategies based on financial data and business forecasting, including budget preparation and kick-off meeting presentations.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed financial reports, forecasts, and analysis to aid decision-making.
• Manage monthly expenses/marginal profit and business profit results to enhance organizational effectiveness and transform it into actionable insights and result-oriented outcomes.
• Provide regular updates on business performance against targets, expert advice, and guidance to the Plating's top management team and Japan HQ management.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial strategies with the overall business strategy.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
• At least 10 years of experience in a management accounting or budgeting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a team.
• Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Proficient in the use of accounting systems, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders, internal, and external parties.
