Manager, Business Continuity Management

The Job

1. Operationalize the business continuity management (BCM) framework and crisis management plan by working closely with divisions/departments to carve out the BC scenarios universe and identify the BC scenarios which are aligned with JP's strategic objectives.

2. Develop business continuity and resiliency strategies and plans through scenario planning exercises to mitigate the impact to disruption of operations.

3. Lead in the review of departments' business impact analysis, recovery strategies and recovery procedures.

4. Create and review additional strategies for continuity and recovery and improve practical execution of recovery procedures in the event of an incident/crisis.

5. Prepare presentation deck which details business continuity plans for presentation at RMM.

6. Maintain a thorough understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends in business continuity and critical threats and provide advisory for BCM related matters.

7. Lead discussions with relevant departments to review drawer plan flowcharts such as IT failure, fire, power failure.

8. Facilitate the development of BCM plans and tabletop exercises.

9. Undertake the role of Crisis Coordinator to support incident Director/Manager to liaise with stakeholders in the support of crisis management.

10. Coordinate and conduct briefing and awareness programs on business continuity and emergency preparedness.

11. Conduct regular review of BCM policies which could arise from benchmarking exercises.

The Requirements

1. Degree in Business / Financial / Economics / Quantitative Financial / Engineering.

2. Relevant knowledge / professional certificate in Business Continuity Management (ISO22301/SS540).

3. Certification in business continuity management (e.g., CBCP, MBCI, ABCP) will be an advantage.

4. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management, and Emergency Planning.

5. Familiar with engagement of internal and external agencies i.e., MPA and MHA on BCP, CM, and EP related issues.

6. Have a keen interest in Enterprise Risk Management.

7. Able to work independently with a collaborative mind.

8. Strong communication and presentation skills.
