Job Responsibilities
Semiconductor Business Strategy and Development:
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging applications for specialty materials, primarily for the semiconductor industry.
Develop comprehensive market penetration strategies to expand product offerings, customer base, and market share.
Analyze customer needs and translate them into product development requirements.
Translate complex findings into actionable recommendations and identify growth/improvement opportunities.
Supplier and Product Development:
Manage the product portfolio, including new product development, product lifecycle management, and product discontinuation decisions.
Define product specifications, pricing strategies, and ensure quality standards are met.
Work closely with sales teams to promote specialty materials products to key accounts and target industries.
Ensure all commercial, regulatory, and permit risks are mitigated.
Supplier Management:
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with suppliers and build strong relationships.
Analyze cost structures and market dynamics to set competitive pricing strategies.
Monitor product profitability and identify areas for cost optimization to achieve organizational profitability objectives.
Project Management:
Develop a product roadmap aligning with semiconductor technology advancement.
Manage complex product development projects from conception to launch.
Ensure all internal approvals are received from senior management through formal project funding requests until the Final Investment Decision.
Sales & Business Development:
Play a crucial role in the Specialty Material team, focusing on expanding the company's leadership in the specialty gas market.
Manage product-related projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop a deep understanding of the products and market dynamics to drive business decisions and achieve financial targets.
