What you will do:

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Consultant with expertise in the insurance industry, including product strategy and development, distribution, underwriting, claims, operations, and pricing. As a Management Consultant for Insurance, you will work closely with clients to provide strategic advice, analyze their operations, and design innovative solutions that improve business outcomes and optimize processes across key areas of the insurance value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Engagement & Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to clients in the insurance industry, helping them address challenges related to product strategy, development, distribution, underwriting, claims, operations, and pricing.

• Product Strategy & Development: Assist clients in designing and developing innovative insurance products that meet market demands, align with regulatory standards, and drive profitability.

• Operational Excellence: Analyze current operational processes and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery across underwriting, claims, and distribution channels.

• Project Management: Lead and manage consulting projects, ensuring successful delivery on time, within scope, and on budget. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and solutions.

• Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Lead the business analysis process by gathering and documenting detailed requirements, conducting stakeholder interviews, and producing actionable business and technical specifications.

• Systems & Technology Integration: Support clients in selecting and implementing appropriate technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and optimizing key processes such as underwriting and claims management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Insurance, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

• 4+ years of experience in management consulting with a focus on the insurance industry.

• Prior experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Subject Matter Expert is good to have.

• Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects from initiation to completion.

• Deep knowledge of insurance operations, technology, and regulatory environment.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior clients and stakeholders.
