About the role

Octomate Staffing Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mall Facilities Senior/Executive to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a bustling shopping mall located in the West/Central Region. This is a crucial position that plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running and exceptional customer experience of our premier retail destination.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist the Operations Manager in managing daily operations and maintenance tasks to ensure seamless operations of the mall.
2. Plan and oversee the annual budget, handle maintenance contracts, and monitor expenditures to meet the mall’s operational requirements.
3. Supervise tenant renovation projects and provide support for Asset Enhancement Initiatives, mall events and promotions.
4. Work closely with the Contract & Procurement team to coordinate ad hoc procurement, cyclical equipment replacements, and mall enhancement projects.
5. Lead the technical team, oversee vendor performance, and ensure adherence to safety standards by participating in emergency preparedness, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs, risk assessments, and safety audits.

What we're looking for

1. Possess a degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Real Estate, Facilities Management, Building Management, or Estate Management.
2. Graduates with relevant degree but no prior relevant experience are welcome to apply.
3. Demonstrate strong initiative, leadership qualities, and excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, with a resourceful and systematic approach to problem-solving.
5. Flexible to work beyond standard operating hours when required.
6. Open to learning and adaptable to potential lateral opportunities across different asset classes, aligned with business needs.
