Maintenance Technician (Aircon)

This position ensures that all aspects of building and facilities maintenance in the Schools are at optimum operational condition and conform to up-to-date regulatory and safety requirements at all times.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Preventative maintenance and ensure all facilities operate efficiently and conform to operating standards.
2. Hands-on in meeting urgent repairs/complaints on electrical services, plumbing, and sanitary requests.
3. Proper maintenance of interior and exterior walls of buildings, appliances, and equipment in the building.
4. Conduct day-to-day inspection activities/checking building wear & tear and defects.
5. Mobilise and supervise contractors on major/rectification works.
6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety regulations.
7. Comply with company safety guidelines and procedures.
8. Ensure accurate updates/reports are done for all work progress and completion.
9. Monitor and control expenses within all areas of the department.
10. Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.
11. Any other duties that are assigned, inclusive of support for new school projects.

Requirements:

1. Relevant Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec with 3 years relevant experience or
2. 5 years of relevant working experience in major building maintenance/construction projects.
3. Possess a class 2B/3 license with own transport.
