JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Carry out diagnosis of problems and repair manufacturing machinery and robots.
Maintain and/or build manufacturing machinery and plant equipment.
Assemble machinery tooling.
Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure performance consistency according to process specifications.
Ensure high level of preventive maintenance programs are implemented and strive for high uptime and reduced repair time.
Plan and carry out inspection and maintenance activities within the plant.
Liaise with contractors regarding repair works.
Maintain 5S standards.
Undertake any other duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENT
NITEC/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.
2 years experience in plant/equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with tools such as drilling, cutting and grinding machines, welding apparatus, jig saw, electrical tools, hand tools, and meters is an added advantage.
Knowledge of local safety requirements is an added advantage.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and self-motivated.
Good knowledge and experience in electrical systems with analytical and troubleshooting skills is desired.
Willingness to perform 12-hour shifts.
Work schedule: Monday to Thursday (4 days a week).
