Maintenance Technician (4 days work week)

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Carry out diagnosis of problems and repair manufacturing machinery and robots.

• Maintain and/or build manufacturing machinery and plant equipment.

• Assemble machinery tooling.

• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure performance consistency according to process specifications.

• Ensure high level of preventive maintenance programs are implemented and strive for high uptime and reduced repair time.

• Plan and carry out inspection and maintenance activities within the plant.

• Liaise with contractors regarding repair works.

• Maintain 5S standards.

• Undertake any other duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• NITEC/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.

• 2 years experience in plant/equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

• Familiarity with tools such as drilling, cutting and grinding machines, welding apparatus, jig saw, electrical tools, hand tools, and meters is an added advantage.

• Knowledge of local safety requirements is an added advantage.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and self-motivated.

• Good knowledge and experience in electrical systems with analytical and troubleshooting skills is desired.

• Willingness to perform 12-hour shifts.

• Work schedule: Monday to Thursday (4 days a week).
