The Landscape Manager (Landscape Maintenance and Construction) is involved in all areas of multiple landscape projects. He/she will meet with the clients to clarify their needs and wants, and develop a proposal for applying the project following the business plan. He/she will find the plants and materials required for the project, and manage a team of workers to bring to life landscape plans and satisfy clients' expectations. An Arborist carries out management programmes for trees and palms. He/she conducts tree inspections, risk checks, and finds solutions for tree health problems. He/she helps prepare tree status reports to management for decision-making. The Arborist enjoys working outdoors, being with nature and is passionate about tree protection and conservation. He/she must be willing to work long hours to respond to tree emergency situations.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee the maintenance and servicing of all horticulture works.
2. Plan and assess work programmes.
3. Ensure quality of landscaping is acceptable.
4. Manage all areas of the project including planning daily work and worker timetables.
5. Manage workers and contractors working at the project location.
6. Meet with clients to understand their landscaping needs.
7. Train workers on safety methods when working with equipment and tools.

Requirements

1. Diploma in Horticulture / Landscape Management or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Landscape Supervision or WSQ Diploma in Landscape Management.
2. Arborist certification from International Society of Arboriculture (ISA).
3. Independent individual with good organisation skills.
4. Good interpersonal skills.
