Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Coordinator - Chemical / Petrochemical

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER - UP TO $6K

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee, manage, and supervise Company’s in-house and external Contractors for all mechanical maintenance works related to planning and execution of:
1. daily maintenance [preventive, corrective, & breakdown maintenance],
2. transition maintenance,
3. turnaround maintenance,
4. upgrading and improvement related to maintenance.
2. Ensure all mechanical maintenance activities are carried out in accordance to the Company’s HSEQ Standards & Maintenance Management System, statutory requirements and best industry practices.
3. Establish, continually improve & execute Company’s maintenance management system in a safe, efficient, and effective way to achieve highest equipment reliability & availability objective.
4. Update and maintain accurate maintenance records in order to provide good maintenance history for data analysis and troubleshooting purposes.
5. Conduct root cause analysis to eliminate equipment/system defects and take appropriate preventive/corrective measures.
6. Optimize & manage mechanical maintenance inventory level of critical & non-critical equipment spare parts.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in Chemical Process Plant.
3. Familiar with Static and Rotating equipment.

MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR - UP TO $5K

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in Daily operation and maintenance meetings to support both operation and maintenance activities by keeping status updated with plan.
2. Coordinates all maintenance activities including safe permit issuance, lockout-tagout preparation, GSAP approval, and supporting relevant parties to effectively complete the maintenance works as needed.
3. Actively prepare equipment from maintenance phase to commissioning of equipment to ensure the completed jobs function well.
4. Supports Capital Project/MOC activities in view of blanking, isolation, LOTO and flushing plans are followed to ensure safe handling.
5. Work closely with the Maintenance engineers on Transition and Turn Around activities from planning stage to commissioning stage.
6. Prepare markup PIDs covering all the GCM activities to be completed during the transition period for safe and timely start-up.
7. Coordinate with shift team supervisors to ensure maintenance jobs such as cleaning, washing and technical or in-house contractors follow up jobs are completed before handing over to production.
8. Support work permitting and work authorization activities.
9. To perform any other duties or assignments as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

1. Diploma / Degree in relevant field.
2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in maintenance planning and coordination.
3. Good communication and teamwork.
4. Independent and able to work effectively with individuals at all levels of organization.
5. Good Time Management and ability to prioritise work.
