Skill Requirement:

Techno-functional role with deep expertise in 3PL domain and have technology expertise in Microfocus COBOL, CICS, DB2, Endevor, Abend-aid, CA7, Microsoft Azure (Version controller).

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Participate in architecture review sessions to provide inputs to architecture team through framework analysis, design patterns, prototype specifications in order to be able to create high level design specification.
2. Interface with customer for issue resolution, provide status updates, Build customer confidence in team’s ability to deliver in order to support high customer satisfaction.
3. Perform high and low level design, Provide pseudo codes, Implement the prototype and do design reviews to deliver design documents as per customer requirements.
4. Participate in the estimation activities considering org/unit Q&P goals and review the estimates in order to plan for required budget and resources to successfully execute the project.
5. Guide the team in developing optimized high quality code deliverable (Code Configuration, Documentation), perform code deliverable reviews & Unit test plan reviews, conduct independent testing and sign off code release for testing stage in order to build application conforming to project standards and requirements.
6. Provides inputs for overall implementation plan, Lead deployment of applications/infrastructure and post production support activities in order to enable production of application/system/infrastructure.
7. Mentors the team on Technical Competencies and provides performance feedback of the individual team members to Project Manager in order to manage performance.
8. Participates in discussions with customers to gather scope information and performs analysis of scope information to provide inputs for project scope documentation.
9. Participate in estimation, staffing analysis and solutioning in order to provide inputs for preparing solution delivery of the proposal.
10. Trains team members on project processes and provides inputs on process tailoring and quality goals to finalize project quality plan.
11. Participate in KT sessions, prepare and review system appreciation documents, understand application/system/infrastructure dependencies, perform shadow support in order to complete transition.
12. Review the production issue analysis and fixes, interface with customer to clarify issues to ensure issue fixes in timely manner and with minimal production impact (adherence to SLA).
13. Extracting business logic from legacy Mainframe application written in Microfocus COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IDMS.
14. Participate in discussions with the client for issue resolution, providing status updates on specific stages of the project and handle team and client interfacing for reviews of all complexities.
15. Conduct impact analysis, and suggest/implement workarounds.
16. Interface with internal teams, spread globally, to undertake onsite-specific activities of the project.
17. Create program specifications documents, unit and integration test plans and implementation plan for software programs.
18. Create and review relevant artifacts (Test Scripts, Documentation, Automation, Setups).
19. Perform validation activities (Functional, Integration, System, User experience based) and identify and validate defects found (including those identified during User Acceptance Testing).

Good to have:

1. Expertise in 3 PL and Supply chain domain.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Relevant experience in client handling.
4. Strong domain knowledge in Logistics business.
5. Experience: 7-10 years.

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology.
