Assist the Job Manager to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to Job Manager.
Provide standing supervision as and when directed by the Resident Engineer and/or Consultant team.
Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works.
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approve drawings and specifications.
Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.
Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
Maintain site records.
Estimated commencement of work in February/March 2025
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
A registered Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES is an added advantage.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Resident Technical Officer on local projects.
Experience in Plumbing and Sanitary projects will be added advantage
Experience in supervision of Mechanical Services installation for local Hospital/Healthcare/Commercial Developments would be added advantage
Familiar with local codes and regulations
Ability to respond to technical questions
